Eat What You Love~Review #5

Wow! I had every intention of posting more recipes before this review, but man! Life sometimes happens! But I will eventually get them. Maybe I will create an eBook, of a few for you. Would this interest anyone? Comment below and let me know your thoughts on that!

Once again, my review list this week is not tremendously long. Like I said, life happened. I had to do grocery shopping over the weekend…we were about out of everything. That in and of it’s self about wipes me out. Plus, I had to do it by myself this time. Also, I may have to take a little break from making any of the “sweets”. I have a little inflammation going on, so I need to get that back under control, before it goes into a full blown flare. So we will see. But there are still plenty of other recipes for me to review, and try, and recreate! 🙂

So here goes. Review #5 from Danielle Walker’s Eat What You Love Cookbook.

Shrimp Fried Rice~Page 193
Well, my family loves shrimp. And my family loves stir fry…so this was an easy review. Yes! Very good!

Nut-Free Lunchbox Bread~page 48
Guys! When you have gone so long without bread…it is so heavenly when you taste some! And this one! Oh to smell the yeast while it’s baking, and to taste bread, that tastes like bread! I don’t know which one is my favorite this one or the Blender Bread, but wow! This was good! I did adjust the baking a bit, I am not sure if my oven is having issues, or if I just need to adjust the temp a bit. I baked it at 375* for 40 minutes.

Chicken Piccata with Artichokes and spinach~ page 185
I have made this one several times already. It is one of David’s favorites. I do add mushrooms to it. David insisted it needed mushrooms. LOL This meal comes together very quickly and is easiest if you have everything premeasured out. One of the fastest meals to make. Addi was with us this night and she kept picking out the artichokes…she loved them!

That’s all I have new for this week. Hopefully next week I will be able to have more, but in the meantime:

  1. Let me know if you try any of these recipes.
  2. Let me know if an eBook is of interest to anyone.
  3. Let me know what else you want to learn/know from me!
  4. Also, don’t forget about the giveaway! One more week! Share with your friends!

I look forward to reading your comments!
