Before…I could not make an angel food cake to save my life! I don’t know why. But I finally gave up trying. I would always ask my mother-in-law to make me one…especially at “strawberry time”.
Well…I think last year, I was trying to find something “special” that I could enjoy for Mother’s Day. I came across this recipe and thought…”Ok, I will give it a shot.” I did. And…I have made it several times since then. It is awesome, and it is one of my favorite “treats” I allow myself. Now if I could just get the outside a little more crunchy. That was always my favorite part of angel food cake…when the top would get a little “crunchy”. But regardless…this is perfect plain or with your berries, and you can add a dollop of coco whip and wahlah…<3.
Now if anyone comes across a glass or stainless angel food cake pan…please let me know!
